The Building Department oversees all
building related services including plan review, architectural
review, licensing, permitting and certificates of occupancy. The building department also
participates in code enforcement and planning and zoning
services. These
services help to ensure the public safety by verifying proper
construction of and zoning requirements for structures in the
Town.
The Building Department verifies that
the state building codes (click
here for www.floridabuilding.org)and Manalapan Code of Ordinances (click
here for www.amlegal.com/manalapan_fl/) are adhered to during plan review, building and
zoning inspections.
The Building Department also provides
technical advisory assistance to the general public, land
development professionals, governmental agencies, and others
regarding land development regulations, site planning principles
and administrative interpretations.
