I have lots of news to report!  Most of the power has been restored to both the Point and the Ocean. However the EAU and the Plaza are still without power.   If you arrive home and your power is off, please email us at or  We will contact F.P.& L. and create a ticket.  Phones are still spotty, T-Mobile is not working at all.  Our 911 system is up and running.  We do have internet back but it may not be working throughout the Town.

If you have decided not to return home, we can still place you on the dark house list.  Please email to be placed on the list.

Palm Beach County schools are closed through Friday (09/15).

Garbage and recycling  pickup will take place on Thursday.  Our crew will not be picking up vegetation.  However vegetative debris can be placed in your swale.  Please cut limbs in four foot or less pieces and do not bag vegetation.  Bagged vegetation will not be picked up.

Town Hall will be open 11:00-4:00 for the rest of this week.  Our phone lines are still not working.  Please remember that although most of our power is on, Palm Beach County still has almost 400,000 or half of their customer base still without power.  This means that all traffic lights do not work.  Approach every intersection with caution and if the light isn’t working treat it as a four way stop.  Most restaurants and stores are currently closed.  Publix does have generators but supplies are limited.  The gas stations that are open have very long lines and we expect will soon be running out of gas.  There are so many people returning that many of our resources have been depleted.

There is currently a curfew throughout Palm Beach County from 10:00 pm-6:00 am.  You will be subject to arrest if found on the roadways during this time.

The First Budget Hearing scheduled for tomorrow September 13th has been canceled.  It has been rescheduled for September 21st at 5:01 p.m.

Yoga and Tai-Chi classes have been canceled for the next two weeks.

Stay safe and if you need anything-please email us!
