As the Managing Shareholder at Davis & Associates, P.A., Keith Davis has served the Town of Manalapan as General Counsel since 2015. His firm also serves as General Counsel to six other local municipalities (Tequesta, Palm Beach Shores, Atlantis, Mangonia Park, Briny Breezes and Royal Palm Beach), the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, and the Palm Beach County League of Cities, Inc.
Keith joined his firm in 2002 (when the firm was known as “Corbett and White” and Ms. White was the Manalapan Town Attorney) after a successful career in the Office of the State Attorney prosecuting felony and juvenile cases. Keith received his law degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia in 1992 and is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in city, county, and local government law. He is rated “AV Preeminent” for professional excellence by his peers through Martindale Hubbell. He is an occasional speaker at League of Cities seminars for attorneys and for government officials, and serves as a code enforcement special magistrate for the City of West Palm Beach.
In his spare time, Keith plays trombone and serves on the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach Gardens Community Concert Band, and collects antique and rare books, as well as Florida Highwaymen art. Keith has a daughter who is both a Florida State University graduate and his office manager; and a Son who is an avid bicyclist and a Florida State University Marching Chiefs alum. Keith and his wife, Jennifer, are also the proud “parents” of two English Bulldogs – Primrose St. John-Smythe, and Duke St. John-Smythe.
