Applicant Screening. Every applicant meeting the minimum qualifications cannot be guaranteed an interview. Applicants are selected for an interview based on education and work experience most closely matching the requirements of the position and may undergo additional selection and screening processes which may include an evaluation of training and experience, and written, oral, and performance-based testing.

Union Agreement - The following Collective Bargaining Agreements that are with the Town of Manalapan:

Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association, Inc. (PBA) for Police Officers and Sergeants (excludes Chief of Police and Lieutenant, and all other Town Employees)

Pre-Employment Medical Examination. Each person selected by a department to fill a position may undergo a medical examination, including drug-free workplace screening, prior to appointment. An offer of employment by a department is not binding until a candidate has passed all pre-employment requirements based on the Town's standards for the performance of duties.
