The Building Department oversees all building related services including plan review, architectural review, business tax receipts, permitting, and certificates of occupancy. These services help to ensure the public safety by verifying proper construction of and zoning requirements for the Town of Manalapan.
The Building Department also provides technical advisory assistance to the general public, land development professionals, governmental agencies, and others regarding land development regulations, site planning principles, and administrative interpretations.
Inspections are to be called in Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for next-day inspections. Please have ready permit #, address, and type.

ANY person, firm, or business must have a business registration to do any work in town. This registration is obtained at Town Hall and should be secured prior to beginning any work. Registration is a simple process that requires a company to have a Palm Beach County Business Tax Receipt and a vehicle decal.
